Our 200 hour foundations course offers a non-dogmatic and pragmatic approach to the yoga practice and teaching while upholding and honoring the sacred roots of this powerful practice. The course is for students who already have some experience with yoga. These practitioners may be looking to deepen their own personal practice; to become a certified yoga teacher; or to integrate yoga philosophy and deeper awareness into their own profession and lifestyle. The program is designed to resource individuals with skills that enable them to apply the basic teachings of yoga as taught through the 8 limb path of hatha yoga in the Sutras of Patanjali. Through asana, breathing, meditation, lifestyle practices, focused attention, and deepening awareness we begin to transform from the inside out and our lives become informed by this self-knowledge.

Create your own "well of life"

We will dive into the teachings of yoga, touch on ayurveda, learn about the history of the practice, study anatomy, learn a bit of sanskrit, understand asana, alignment, body awareness, meditation and more. A significant part of our program is the integration of the practice into our daily lives of work, family and obligations in modern terms.

It is our belief that yoga is a deep well of life from which anyone can drink regardless of gender, age, beliefs, physical limitation, socio-economic status or any other obstacles that may be preconceived.
